Christmas cards during the 1970s

The urban centers kept growing in Finland during the 1970s with several suburbs being created. This further increased the separation of the urban people from their agrarian roots. Finland had by this time grown to a nation of 4,5 miljon inhabitants so the Christmas card tradition just kept on growing.

 

We see a clear increase in photographical Christmas cards during the 1970s if compared to earlier decades.
